Designed for creative people, Visionshed is the web workshop at the bottom of your virtual garden.

Here at Visionshed I offer solutions for people in the arts and other creative fields who would like to concentrate on the content of their websites without being bogged down with the technicalities.

I offer website hosting, website management, website construction and a host of related resources. Notice I said construction rather than design. Well being the creative person I know you are, I realise that the design is something you may want to handle. My job is to provide the framework on which your ideas can hang.

Not only does this give you more creative freedom it also keeps your costs down.

I do this by providing you with an easy to use yet powerful tools that once set up let you edit your website when ever and from where ever you want.

The Village Idiots website uses the Concrete 5 content management system just like we do here at Visionshed. The site is built around a modified version of one of the templates that comes with the system. This is a very sophisticated yet easy to use tool that enables the site owners to update content, add pages and maintain the site as and when they require. Oh and the best part is that it is free to use as it is 'open source '.

The Performance Exchange website uses a very light weight and easy to use content management system called Webyep. This uses a free html template that I have edited to the design that they desire. I have then inserted the Webyep code to make specific areas of the website user/owner editable. This is one of the best CMS's available for those intimidated by the idea of updating your own website. All the user needs to do is log in to the site and they can instantly see the parts of the web page they can edit. There no complicated admin panels or document trees to navigate through. The Wepyep system is not free but the small one off license fee is well worth the ease of use it provides.

Again, Karma Kids uses the Wepyep content management system but this time it is incorporated in to a template that I hand coded from scratch to the site owners prefered design.
